Rockybank is part of the S Kidman and Co’s property portfolio. Planning commenced in early 2017 with the design of new breeder yards on a greenfield site. The custom design consisted of a manual 360° crowd, parallel curved race with load-out facility and 3-way draft, leading to a pound, which provides a further 5-way draft option. The core centre was covered with a skillion roof and a separate calf race was also included.
