Stock agents bid big for their 'headspace Hero'

headspace Albury-Wodonga was the beneficiary of the charity auction that fetched $11,000 for a 600-kilogram Angus steer.

Cattleyard builders Thompson Longhorn — which built the new yards — and the Albury-Wodonga Stock Agents Association went 50-50 on the purchase of the steer, dubbed “headspace Hero”.

The opening sale fetching $11,000 for the sale of a single Angus steer, set a new record (50/50 contribution by Thompson Longhorn and the Albury-Wodonga Stock Agents Association). headspace Albury-Wodonga was the beneficiary.
